Spring Season Details: 2020 presented us with some unique challenges; however, we worked through them and created a great program for the boys to continue to learn lacrosse including online Zoom workouts, Summer practices, Summer camp and the Fall program. Even in the craziest of times, our lacrosse program is growing.

Coach Pat DeBolt is once again the youth director. He will be installing the practice plans, overseeing all of the teams and running the sidelines when available. He will be assisted by Coach Harley Brown who many of you have met in the Fall. He’s a fantastic addition to Prosper Lacrosse. He’s a former close defenseman at University of Denver and has tremendous lacrosse knowledge to share with our athletes. We're also setting up position specific coaching for our face off specialists and goalies.

Practices will started January 19 for 2nd through 8th grade. Games will begin in February and run through the end of April. We will practice twice a week on the turf fields at Frontier Park. Our home games will be played on those same fields. We will play away games against area teams such as Allen, Frisco, Hebron, etc. We will look to schedule 8+ games for each team.

For Kindergarten and 1st grade, we are creating a new entry level program called PeeWee Lax to help grow the game and keep our kids safe. The coaches will include high school players along with parents. It will be for an hour and half on either Saturday or Sunday. It will consist of 30 minutes of instruction and drills followed by a 45-minute game. It is a 7-week program starting March 14 (once it warms up a bit). The PeeWee Lax registration will be open through March.
